To provide participating
companies with a sound, widely recognised development route for strategically
important employees (engineers, managers, apprentices and potential managers)
with a meaningful qualification an integral part of which involves working
in another European country.
To enable students
to acquire an' in-depth' understanding of the business environment and
the company's opportunities in other European countries, initially Germany,
France and Spain.
To provide a more
European approach to management and business education.
To develop new and
strengthening links with the business community within the West Midlands
and their European partners.
To deliver a sound
academic basis for student development to degree and/or professional level.
To establish the
College and its integral partners as the principal vehicle for developing
'dual', ie. UK and European Business qualification in collaboration with,
and supported by, both the German and French Chambers of Commerce and
Embassies.
To facilitate the
growth and diversification of the West Midlands economy via professional
experience-based courses and experience of working in other European countries
for company selected personnel.
